چکیده
conclusions due to the tendency of lv pseudoaneurysms to rupture, early surgical intervention is recommended. case presentation we report a very rare case of a 47-year-old woman presents with an atypical form of lv apical pseudoaneurysm confirmed by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (cmri). introduction left ventricular pseudoaneurysm is an interesting clinical entity. the left ventricular (lv) pseudoaneurysm, in contrast to a true lv aneurysm, contains only pericardial layer and fibrous elements in its wall.

Pseudoaneurysm of the left ventricle following apical approach TAVI
Symptomatic severe aortic stenosis carries a two year survival of only 50%. However many patients are unsuitable for conventional aortic valve replacement as they are considered too high risk due to significant co-morbidities. Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) offers a viable alternative for this high risk patient group, either by the femoral or apical route. This article reports a...
متن کاملPseudoaneurysm of left ventricle.
Left ventricular free wall rupture is a dramatic but not always fatal complication from myocardial acute infarction. However, if proper diagnosis is delayed, surgical treatment may be compromised. The authors report a case of large pseudoaneurysm in left ventricular inferior wall diagnosed on angiography study.

Three months after combined mitral and aortic valve replacement, a 74-year-old woman presented with New York Heart Association grade II to III dyspnea. She had regular sinus tachycardia (109 bpm), and her blood pressure was 90/55 mm Hg. Routine echocardiography showed normal left ventricular ejection fraction and normal functional status of mitral and aortic valve prosthesis. However, late syst...

A 49-year-old man admitted with a 3 weeks history of stomachache and without any cardiac symptoms and diagnosed as pseudoaneurysm of the left ventricle is reported. The repair was performed with the aid of cardiopulmonary bypass, defect was repaired with Gore-tex patch and myocardial tissues were approximated and closed by using two Teflon stripes. BioGlue was applied on the sutures and between...
متن کاملEchocardiographic diagnosis of pseudoaneurysm of the left ventricle.
The echocardiographic features of postinfarction pseudoaneurysm of the left ventricle are described for the first time. Because ultrasound allows the detection of soft-tissue structures in a manner not possible with other diagnostic techniques, the left ventricular wall can be visualized separating the left ventricular cavity from the saccular aneurysm which is delineated by pericardium and/or ...
